Its hourglass shaped springs are set out in rows running from head to toe and connected into one single unit using a spiral wire at the top and bottom. To prevent border breakdown and add strength, a thick rod-edge wire is attached to the outer springs. This ensures it retains its shape throughout its lifespan.
